PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Daniel Jones could be playing in his final home game as the redshirt junior’s name has come up as a potential NFL Draft choice. Jones is coming off only his second outing of the season without a touchdown passes when he was blanked in that category at Clemson.

–RB Deon Jackson has gained 776 rushing yards this season. He’s within range of the 818 ground yards churned out by Shaun Wilson last year. Wilson’s total marks the most single-season rushing yards for a Duke player in coach David Cutcliffe’s 11 seasons.

–WR T.J Rahming has caught three or more passes in 18 consecutive games. He has 11 career touchdowns going into this final home game. Of his six touchdowns this season, all of them have come in road games.

–S Marquis Waters might be the leading tackler among active players for the Blue Devils this week. He has made 59 tackles, ranking fourth on the team. The three players above him are dealing with injuries.

SERIES HISTORY: Duke leads Wake Forest 58-38-2, including last year’s 31-23 victory.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “By beating (Wake Forest), we run the state.” — LB Koby Quansah, figuring the Blue Devils could be in line for the mythical state championship because they already defeated North Carolina, while Wake Forest owns a victory against North Carolina State.
