PLAYERS TO WATCH
–WR Tamorrion Terry is arguably the biggest shining star on offense for the Seminoles during this down season. Terry has risen to third on the team in receiving with 505 yards and has caught a staggering seven touchdowns — the best by far of anyone on the team not named Deondre Francois (who has 15 total touchdowns this year). The joke around Tallahassee right every time the Seminoles struggle is to just “run the Terry play.”
–LB AJ Westbrook has had several up and down games, but last Saturday against N.C. State, he had a pretty solid individual performance with 10 tackles (second on the team). Westbrook is now up to second on the team in tackles with 48, although he has a long way to go to catch up to team leader Hamsah Nasirildeen, who has recorded an astounding 72 tackles already this year — including 15 tackles last week against N.C. State.
SERIES HISTORY: Florida State leads the all-time series against Notre Dame 6-2, including victories in their last three meetings dating back to 2003. The last time they met, in 2014, Florida State won 31-27.
