GAME BREAKDOWN
KEY MATCHUP: Georgia Tech will again try to flex its muscle with the running game. The Yellow Jackets are No. 1 in the nation in rushing yardage (362.4 yards per game) and Virginia allows 175.3 yards, ninth-best in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets have already compiled a school-record five 400-yard rushing games. They only ran for 231 last week against Miami, but were able to sustain drives and keep the ball away from the Hurricanes. Miami had only one possession in the fourth quarter because the Yellow Jackets were so effective at running the ball. Georgia Tech only threw four passes last week, completing three.

–OG Parker Braun continues to anchor the offensive line. The junior from Texas fought off pressure from the larger, athletic Miami defensive linemen and helped the Yellow Jackets rush for 231 yards.
ROSTER REPORT:
–FB KirVonte Benson, a junior, is out for the year with knee surgery.
–LB JaQuan Henderson, a sophomore, missed last week’s game with an upper body injury. His status is undetermined.
