PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Ryan Finley will play his final home game in a three-year N.C. State career in which he has been the starter since arriving as a graduate transfer. He has thrown for more than 3,000 yards in each of the three seasons. Finley threw for one touchdown and 259 yards in a 2016 meeting with East Carolina, which won the game.

–RB Reggie Gallaspy rushed for five touchdowns, including the winning score in overtime, as the Wolfpack defeated North Carolina. The senior has 28 career touchdowns.

–S Jarius Morehead is second on the team with 72 tackles. He made a team-high 11 tackles against North Carolina and if teammate LB Germaine Pratt missed another game then Morehead would be the Wolfpack’s top tackler going into the East Carolina game.

–WR Kelvin Harmon is the third player in school history with two seasons of 1,000 or more receiving yards. The junior could be in his final home game if he enters the NFL Draft for next spring.

SERIES HISTORY: N.C. State leads East Carolina 16-13, with East Carolina winning the past three meetings (most recently in 2016 at home).

QUOTE TO NOTE: “Our demeanor is going to be that we can win the line of scrimmage and you have to believe in your run game to have that demeanor.” — Coach Dave Doeren, whose team reached the 200-yard rushing mark for only the second time this season with 206 against North Carolina.
