Virginia’s secondary has been their strength all season and Thornhill, now in his senior season, has 12 interceptions in his career.

SERIES HISTORY: Georgia Tech leads Virginia 20-19-1 with the Cavs winning last year’s matchup in Charlottesville, 40-36.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “I’m not sure there is any scout team in the country that is capable to replicate Georgia Tech’s offense. Later in the year the challenge is greater when you start running out of players. We will do the best we can to get ready for that look with the options we have.” — Coach Bronco Mendenhall
