QUOTE TO NOTE: “In basketball terms, it was almost a little like a stall. We tried to bleed it, play it slow … get to the fourth quarter still in the game.” — Coach Davie Clawson, on dealing with an injury-riddled roster and needing to go away from a fast-paced approach on offense in order to drain the clock. The Demon Deacons rank 10th in the ACC in time of possession at 27 minutes, 58 seconds per game.
