LSU announced on Thursday that former Stanford cornerback Terrence Alexander has committed with the school as a graduate transfer and is eligible to play this season.

Alexander, who recently visited the Baton Rouge campus, recorded 57 tackles and one interception in 41 games with the Cardinal.

The 5-foot-10, 190-pound Alexander was granted a medical redshirt after sustaining an injury in Stanford’s 2017 season opener against Rice.

Alexander won three state championships while attending high school at New Orleans-area football powerhouse John Curtis.
