North Carolina running back Jordon Brown said Wednesday he will graduate and transfer to Kansas State for the 2019 season.

Brown has one year of eligibility remaining after rushing for 1,005 yards and eight touchdowns in three seasons with the Tar Heels.

“May the next move be the best move,” Brown wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, accompanied by a photo of himself wearing a Kansas State uniform with the caption, “Committed to the Cats.”

Brown also caught 46 passes for 342 yards in his 28 games with North Carolina.

His best game came against Old Dominion in 2017 when he rushed 18 times for 123 yards and two touchdowns in a 53-23 victory.

With the Wildcats, Brown will battle to replace Alex Barnes, who rushed for 1,355 yards and 12 TDs last season. Undrafted, Barnes signed with the Tennessee Titans.
