GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Texas WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey vs. Oklahoma S Robert Barnes. Humphrey had nine catches for 133 yards and a touchdown, plus threw for a touchdown, in the 48-45 Texas win over the Sooners earlier this year. While Oklahoma’s cornerbacks played well last week against West Virginia, its safeties did not. The Longhorns figure to attack them with Humphrey, making Barnes and freshman Brendan Radley-Hiles particularly important.

DRAFT SLANT

–QB Kyler Murray continues to generate more and more buzz for the draft, after throwing for 364 yards and rushing for 114 yards last week. But Murray said Monday that “the plan” still called for him walking away from football after this season to pursue a baseball career after being the No. 9 overall pick in last summer’s MLB Draft by the Oakland A’s. “I feel like I could play in the NFL,” Murray said. Lincoln Riley said he expects Murray to be drafted regardless of his decision.
