KEY MATCHUP: Oklahoma middle linebacker Kenneth Murray vs. Army’s Kelvin Hopkins Jr. and Darnell Woolfolk. Hopkins, the Black Knights’ quarterback, and Woolfolk, the running back, are the key to Army’s triple-option attack. Murray’s reads on the option will be important. The sophomore middle linebacker has 19 tackles over the last two games and has shown improvement from a year ago when he struggled at times, especially defending the run.

–K/P Austin Seibert earned Big 12 Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors after his three-field goal performance against Iowa State where he averaged 48.5 yards per punt and kicked all eight of his kickoffs for touchbacks. Seibert figures to just serve one role at the next level but has been excellent in both his kicking and punting roles during his four years at OU.
ROSTER REPORT:
–QB Austin Kendall, Kyler Murray’s backup, didn’t play against Iowa State last week but was available for the first time since the season opener.
–DT Marquise Overton underwent an emergency appendectomy the night before the game vs. UCLA and will miss at least two more games.
–DL Tyreece Lott has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury.
