GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Ohio State’s offense against Michigan State’s defense will be one of the more intriguing matchups of the season. The Buckeyes are scoring 42.2 points a game, the best in the Big Ten and good for 10th in the nation while the Spartans are giving up just 19 points a game, third in the Big Ten and 16th in the country. Michigan State is best against the run, a spot Ohio State has had its problems this season. Where the Buckeyes will look to have the advantage is in the passing attack, where quarterback Dwayne Haskins has been excellent and Ohio State is averaging 369.1 yards a game. MSU has given up its share of yards, but the return of Josiah Scott helps.

DRAFT SLANT

–Junior defensive tackle Raequan Williams is slowly moving his up the draft boards as he continues to cause problems for Big Ten offenses. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder has eight tackles for loss this season and has a career-best 35 tackles this season. He’s also broken up four passes and has a forced fumble.
