KEY MATCHUP: Indiana’s secondary versus Penn State’s wideouts. The Nittany Lions’ receivers have struggled to get open and catch balls for much of the season. They had multiple chances to keep the game out of the Spartans’ reach last week but failed to separate from a group that has allowed nearly 290 passing yards per game. The Hoosiers are beatable, however. They’ve allowed 18 passing touchdowns so far.

–CB Amani Oruwariye made four tackles and broke up four passes in the loss to Michigan State. The senior is rated the 103rd-best NFL prospect for the 2019 draft, according to NFLDraftScout.com.
ROSTER REPORT:
–DT Fred Hansard suffered a lower body injury against Michigan State and will miss the remainder of the season. Hansard had two tackles in six games.
–QB Trace McSorley has thrown a touchdown pass in 34 straight games, the longest active streak in FBS.
–RB Mark Allen suffered a season-ending injury prior to the Illinois game. A senior, Allen finishes his career with 353 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
