PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Alex Hornibrook is coming off one of his best games of the season. He threw three touchdowns against Iowa and completed 17-of-22 passes for 205 yards in the comeback win. The Badgers are 9-0 when Hornibrook throws at least two touchdown passes in a game in his career.

–RB Jonathan Taylor is always a player to watch for the Badgers. He carried the ball 25 times for 113 yards against Iowa, his fourth 100-yard game this season. Taylor has rushed for 2,605 career yards, and with Nebraska struggling in all aspects on defense, look for Wisconsin to give Taylor a chance to pad his stats.

–FB Alec Ingold is an intriguing weapon for the Badgers. If he can continue his solid running and be a threat in the passing game, the Badgers’ offense will benefit in the long run. Ingold had two carries for 37 yards and caught a 33-yard touchdown against Iowa.

–LB T.J. Edwards is becoming a bigger factor each week following a so-so start. He notched a game-sealing interception against Iowa, his first interception since Nov. 11, 2017.

SERIES HISTORY: Wisconsin leads Nebraska 8-4. The Badgers defeated the Cornhuskers, 38-17, last season in Lincoln.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “It’s really easy to fall in that trap, but when you look at this team on film, it’s a really good football team, and we’re going to get their best shot. — Wisconsin linebacker T.J. Edwards on facing winless Nebraska.
