SEPT 3 MOUNTAIN WEST SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: JARON BRYANT, FRESNO STATE, Junior, Defensive Back, Fort Worth, Texas/Duncanville HS…Returned two blocked field goals for touchdowns in Fresno State’s 79-13 victory over Idaho…Both scores came in the second quarter, helping extend the Bulldogs halftime lead to 44-6…Fresno State joined USC (Oct. 22, 1994 and Oct. 11, 2008), Wyoming (Nov. 18, 1995), Central Michigan (Oct. 2, 2004) and Iowa (Sept. 5, 2009) as the only teams in FBS history to block two field goals in the same quarter. – Mountain West Football

SEPT 17 MOUNTAIN WEST OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: MARCUS MCMARYION, FRESNO STATE, Senior, Quarterback, Dinuba, California/Oregon State…In Fresno State’s 38-14 victory at UCLA, accounted for 286 yards of total offense and five touchdowns…Completed 22 passes for 270 yards and one touchdown…Ran for four touchdowns on nine attempts (16 yards)…McMaryion matched a program record for rushing touchdowns by a QB (4). The record was originally set by Mark Barsotti on Sept. 2, 1989 vs. Utah…This was the Bulldogs’ first victory over a Pac-12 opponent since defeating Colorado (69-14) on Sept. 15, 2012. – Mountain West Football
