SEPT 24 MOUNTAIN WEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DARREN HALL, SAN DIEGO STATE, Redshirt-Freshman, Cornerback, Pasadena, California/Rancho Cucamonga HS…In San Diego State’s 23-20 overtime victory against Eastern Michigan, recorded a career-best four tackles and picked off his first pass…The interception ended Eastern Michigan’s lone drive in overtime. – Mountain West Football

SEPT 24 MOUNTAIN WEST SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: JOHN BARON II, SAN DIEGO STATE, Senior, Placekicker, Temecula, California/Chaparral HS…In San Diego State’s 23-20 overtime victory against Eastern Michigan, connected on three-of-four field goal attempts and was two-for-two on PATs…With 1:16 left in the fourth quarter, tied the game with a 50-yard field goal…Hit the game-winning 38-yard field goal in overtime…Has made multiple field goals for the third consecutive game. – Mountain West Football
