Andrew Wingard – Noteworthy
Wyoming Pro Day: Wingard opted to skip out on the 40 ? a test that’s as significant as any when it comes to his draft stock ? he said he was content with the 4.56 he ran at the combine Monday. “That combine is super stressful,” Wingard said. “You’re running on four hours of sleep every night. You’re doing all the medical exams and stuff. The teams know that, and to go out there and run a 4.56 laser (time) and a mid-to-high 4.4 hand time, I was happy with that.” His focus Thursday was on improving his agility testing, which he was able to in the three-cone drill. Wingard posted a time of 6.88 seconds, besting his time of 7.08 at the combine. “That three-cone is all change of direction and moving your hips, sinking your hips and getting out of your cuts,” Wingard said. “Super happy with that.” Wingard spoke with representatives of the Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers on Thursday. He said he will go back and forth between Laramie and Denver to continue his training before the draft starts April 25. – Casper Star-Tribune Online
