GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: The Washington offensive line faced a steep learning curve at the outset of the season, losing All-American tackle Trey Adams to back surgery. With tight end Hunter Bryant out, the Huskies have been down another important blocker. Results have been inconsistent as a result, but the Huskies front must find a way to assert itself against a Stanford defense holding opponents below four yards per rush. A common denominator in all of Washington’s losses is its inability to run consistently.

DRAFT SLANT

–QB Jake Browning ranks ninth among quarterback prospects in the 2018 draft class, according to NFLDraftScout.com. Four seasons of game film outweigh the final three-game stretch of Washington’s regular season, but the promising prospect faces his final opportunity to live up to his billing.

ROSTER REPORT:

–QB Jake Browning is 96 yards behind Derek Anderson for seventh all-time in career passing yards among Pac-12 quarterbacks. His one score last week moved him into a tie with Connor Halliday for sixth all-time in career passing touchdowns at 90.

–TE Hunter Bryant suited up for the first time this season last week at Cal but he did not play. He is questionable this week.
