PLAYERS TO WATCH

–WR Kadarius Toney was a dual threat in the win over South Carolina, finishing with 51 yards rushing, 33 yards receiving and one receiving TD. Florida coach Dan Mullen said he’s going to continue to try to find creative ways to get Toney touches. “That’s a different type of guy,” Florida junior running back Lamical Perine said. “They’ll have a run that’s supposed to go left and he’ll cut it back all the way to the right and score, so you never know what to expect with Kadarius. He’s a talented, good kid, man. He’s done a lot for this program and he’s going to keep doing that.”

–RB Jordan Scarlett rushed for a career-high 159 yards on 18 carries against South Carolina. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Scarlett has rushed for a team-high 629 yards on 6.2 yards per carry and three TDs. A redshirt junior, Scarlett could be playing his final game at The Swamp on Saturday against Idaho.

–DL Jachai Polite was again disruptive against South Carolina, finishing with three tackles, two tackles for loss and half a sack against Florida. The 6-foot-2, 242-pound junior from Daytona Beach has continued his breakout season which has included 11.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.

–CB C.J. Henderson recorded his second interception of the season and had five tackles against South Carolina. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound Henderson has 28 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two interceptions on the season.

SERIES HISTORY: This is the first meeting between Florida and Idaho. The game is a makeup for a game scheduled on Aug. 30, 2014 that was canceled due a three-hour lightning delay and a downpour that made field conditions unplayable.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “It’s probably something I shouldn’t have done. I’m a super emotional player. A lot of people are going to like me and a lot of people are not going to like me.” — Florida QB Feleipe Franks, on flashing the quiet sign to the crowd after each of his two rushing TDs against South Carolina.
