Lawrence Cager – Noteworthy
Georgia landed a potential impact graduate transfer target for Jake Fromm on Friday night. Lawrence Cager, who grabbed a team-high six touchdown catches for Miami last season, announced he plans to play for the Bulldogs this coming season. He tied for third on Miami last season with 21 catches for 374 yards. “I am excited for this new journey with Coach (Kirby) Smart and the entire UGA family. #Go Dawgs,” Cager wrote on Twitter. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Cager played as a freshman for the Hurricanes when Georgia offensive coordinator James Coley was in the same role at Miami. – Marc Weiszer, Online Athens
