Senior wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley of Georgia sustained a right knee injury earlier this week during practice and coach Mark Richt told reporters on Saturday that the news is not good.

Richt said Scott-Wesley definitely will miss the Bulldogs’ opener on Sept. 5 and might be out longer than that.

“I’m not sure we’ll see Justin for awhile, if at all,” Richt said.

This is the third significant injury to Scott-Wesley’s right knee. In 2013, he tore his right ACL. This summer, Scott-Wesley underwent an arthroscopic procedure to repair his right meniscus, but returned in time for preseason practice.
