PLAYERS TO WATCH
–RB Mon Denson moved into the starting lineup against Florida after rushing for 102 yards the week before against Ole Miss. He rushed for only 49 yards on 12 carries against the Gators, however, giving him 217 yards on 42 rushes.
–WR Deebo Samuel topped the 100-yard mark in receiving for the first time this season with 120 yards on just four receptions. He has 527 yards and five touchdowns on a team-high 43 receptions for the season. He also had four kickoff returns for 78 yards at Florida.
–LB T.J. Brunson recorded a pair of sacks in the loss to the Gators, giving him four for the season, a team high. With 16 tackles against Florida, he also leads the Gamecock in tackles with 80 with 10 for losses. Of those, 45 have been solo efforts.
–CB Rashad Fenton has three of South Carolina’s five interceptions for the season. He also has broken up four other passes. He has 23 tackles overall.
SERIES HISTORY: This is South Carolina’s first meeting with Chattanooga.
