PLAYERS TO WATCH

–RB AJ Turner became the first Gamecock this season with three touchdowns in a game last week against Chattanooga. He scored on a 16-yard run and 6-yard reception in the first quarter and added an 11-yard run in the second. Turner has rushed for 146 yards the last two games, giving him 294 on the season.

–WR Deebo Samuel had the sixth 100-yard receiving game of his career with 112 yards on just five catches in the 49-9 rout of Chattanooga. Among them was a 61-yard touchdown reception, giving him six touchdown catches for the season, tying him with WR Bryan Edwards for the team lead.

–LB T.J. Brunson has been a leader for the Gamecocks on defense. His 83 tackles and 4 sacks are the most on the team in the respective categories, and his 10 tackles for loss shares the team lead with LB Bryan Allen-Williams 10 TFLs.

–CB Rashad Fenton gives South Carolina its best opportunity to come up with game-changing takeaways. He leads the Gamecocks in interceptions with three and has broken up five other passes.

SERIES HISTORY: Clemson leads the series with South Carolina 69-42-4. The Tigers won the last meeting 34-10 in 2017.
