Former Stanford quarterback Keller Chryst will try his luck at Tennessee as a graduate transfer.

Chryst announced his decision with a picture of the Tennessee logo on Twitter, accompanied by the words “Home Sweet Home.”

The social media post comes less than a week after Chryst visited the campus on Knoxville, Tenn.

Chryst, whose uncle Paul Chryst is the head coach at Wisconsin, is set to graduate from Stanford in June. He will be eligible immediately for the Volunteers.

Chryst posted a 6-0 mark as the Cardinal starter in 2016 and began the 2017 season as the top quarterback before losing the job to redshirt freshman K.J. Costello. Chryst threw for 962 yards with eight touchdowns versus four interceptions in seven games.

In three seasons with the Cardinal, Chryst completed 160 of 289 passes for 1,925 yards with 19 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Chryst will compete with Jarrett Guarantano and Will McBride this spring at Tennessee.
