The University of Idaho football team dismissed its leading wide receiver, Dezmon Epps, on Monday.

Vandals coach Paul Petrino released a statement saying Epps’ dismissal was because of a violations of “conditions set forth in the disciplinary actions that had been taken earlier in the season.”

Idaho suspended Epps on Oct. 26 after he was accused in a domestic-violence incident. The incident allegedly took place in Pullman, Wash., but the prosecutors declined to charge Epps because of a lack of evidence.

The Oct. 26 incident wasn’t Epps’ first brush with the law. In August, he was caught shoplifting and served a one-game suspension. In 2014, he was charged with driving under the influence.

Despite playing in only six games, Epps recorded 757 receiving yards on 61 receptions.
