The Carolina Panthers got back on track with a 31-21 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cam Newton scored four touchdowns, two rushing and two passing, and Christian McCaffery rushed for a career
high 184 yards on a career high 28 carries to lead the Carolina Panthers to a 31-21 win over the previously undefeated Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals scored first on a one-yard run by Giovani Bernard. The Panthers answered with 14 quick points and went on to take a 21-14 lead into the locker room at the half. Both teams scored a touchdown in the second half before Carolina kicker Graham Gano iced the game with a 38-yard field goal 1:11 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton completed 29 of 46 passes for 352 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw four costly interceptions.
The Panthers extended their home winning streak to seven games with the victory. They will have a bye week next week before returning to Bank of America in two weeks to play the New York Giants.
