Designated hitter Nelson Cruz rejoined the Minnesota Twins on Monday.

Cruz went on the 10-day injured list on May 17 with a strained left wrist. He played in two games this weekend on a rehab assignment at Class-A Fort Myers, going 2-for-7.

The six-time All-Star was batting .270 with seven homers and 22 RBIs in 35 games before the injury.

Cruz, 38, ranks fourth among active players in career home runs (367) and sixth in RBIs (1,033).

In a corresponding move, the Twins optioned rookie infielder Luis Arraez to Triple-A Rochester. The 22-year-old batted .375 (9-for-24) with one homer and three RBIs in 10 games.
