The New York Yankees activated Aaron Hicks from the disabled list on Thursday and placed fellow outfielder Clint Frazier on the 10-day DL.

Hicks has been sidelined since June 25 with a ribcage injury. The 27-year-old was hitting .290 with 10 homers and 37 RBIs in 60 games this season with the Yankees.

Hicks batted .333 (8-for-24) with three doubles, a home run and three RBIs after seven games of his rehabilitation assignment at Double-A Trenton and Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Frazier was a late scratch from Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays after experiencing tightness in his oblique during batting practice.

The 22-year-old Frazier batted .243 with four home runs and 17 RBIs in 28 games with the Yankees.
