Green Bay Packers rookie running back Aaron Jones is expected to miss at least three weeks for a knee injury sustained in Sunday’s 23-16 win against the Chicago Bears.

Jones, who was injured on the opening drive against the Bears as he was tackled by linebacker Sam Acho, has an MCL injury and is expected to be out for three to six weeks, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.

The 22-year-old Jones, a fifth-round pick out of UTEP, is the Packers’ leading rusher this season with 370 yards on 70 carries in eight games. He has three touchdown runs with two 100-yard games since he became the starter in Week 4 after Ty Montgomery suffered broken ribs.

The Packers also may be without Montgomery, who reinjured his ribs on Sunday. He is the team’s second-leading rusher (273 yards on 71 carries) with three TDs.

Two other rookies, Jamaal Williams and Devante Mays, are the only healthy running back on the Packers’ roster.
