Braves P Soroka exits game after being hit by pitch

Atlanta Braves right-hander Mike Soroka left his start Sunday at Washington after he was hit in his right forearm on a 93.3 mph pitch from Nationals pitcher Austin Voth in the top of the third inning.

Voth was called up from the minors on Sunday.

Soroka entered the game with eight wins in a row and a mark of 8-1 with ERA of 2.12.

He was replaced in the bottom half of the third by Josh Tomlin.

Soroka, 21, left the game in a scoreless tie. He gave up one hit in two innings.
