Charlie Blackmon, OF, Colorado Rockies

2018: One shouldn’t complain too much about Blackmon’s campaign. His 29 home runs, 12 stolen bases and .291 average are the hallmarks of a stud fantasy outfielder. But some red flags emerged during the season as Blackmon, on the wrong side of 30, failed to live up to his billing as a consensus top-15 draft pick. His contact rate and stolen-base total fell for a third consecutive season.

Forecast: What Blackmon will likely give you — 25 home runs, 10 stolen bases, a .280 average — is very good; just don’t overpay for past performance. He’s a potential top-10 outfielder with a high floor if he can make it through the year unscathed.

2019 Projections: .324 avg., 24 doubles, six triples, 32 home runs, 78 RBIs, 110 runs, 10 stolen bases.
