CHICAGO — Jose Ramirez and Carlos Santana homered as the red-hot Cleveland Indians ran their season-high winning streak to 12 games with a 5-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Monday.

Trevor Bauer (15-8) allowed two runs on three hits in 6 1/3 innings for Cleveland, which has outscored opponents 84-21 during the streak.

Chicago starter James Shields (2-6) exited in the seventh inning with a right knee contusion. He allowed four runs in 6 1/3 innings.

Rymer Liriano hit a two-run homer for the White Sox.

Yankees 7, Orioles 4

BALTIMORE — Starlin Castro homered and drove in three runs, leading New York past Baltimore.

Castro hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning off Baltimore starter Dylan Bundy (13-9) and added an RBI single in the sixth. Didi Gregorius also hit a two-run homer for the Yankees.

Welington Castillo, Chris Davis and Tim Beckham homered for the Orioles.

Reds 5, Brewers 4

CINCINNATI — Billy Hamilton homered with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting Cincinnati over Milwaukee.

Hamilton won the game by hitting a 1-1 pitch from Josh Hader (1-3) over the left-center field fence.

Ryan Braun hit a solo homer and Orlando Arcia hit a three-run homer for Milwaukee.

Royals 7, Tigers 6

DETROIT — Eric Hosmer homered and drove in three runs as Kansas City held off Detroit.

Melky Cabrera added a two-run double while Salvador Perez and Alcides Escobar hit solo homers for Kansas City.

Nicholas Castellanos drove in four runs for Detroit.

Mets 11, Phillies 7

NEW YORK — Jose Reyes sparked a three-run third inning with a solo homer and contributed an RBI single during a six-run fourth as New York beat Philadelphia.

Reyes extended his hitting streak to 10 games by going 2-for-3 with a walk.

Hyun Soo Kim hit a two-run double while Freddy Galvis and Odubel Herrera hit RBI singles in the ninth for Philadelphia.
