ARLINGTON, Texas — Giancarlo Stanton homered twice to lead the Miami Marlins to a 4-0 victory over the Texas Rangers on Monday.

Stanton recorded his 25th career multi-homer game, his seventh this season, and he tied New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge for the major league lead with 32 homers. He hit a solo homer in the first inning off Texas starter Martin Perez and homered in the eighth against Jeremy Jeffress.

Adrian Beltre went 4-for-4 for Texas and is seven hits shy of 3,000 for his career.

White Sox 3, Cubs 1

CHICAGO — Miguel Gonzalez allowed a run in 7 1/3 innings, and the Chicago White Sox snapped a nine-game losing streak by beating the Chicago Cubs.

Matt Davidson hit his 19th homer and Adam Engel also went deep for the White Sox.

Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks allowed one run and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings after being activated from the disabled list.

Indians 6, Reds 2

CLEVELAND — Carlos Santana homered twice, and Cleveland beat Cincinnati in a makeup game.

Josh Tomlin won his third straight start by allowing two runs and four hits in six innings.

Scooter Gennett and Zack Cozart homered for the Reds, who are 2-9 since the All-Star break.

Orioles 5, Rays 0

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Kevin Gausman pitched six effective innings, Adam Jones homered, and Baltimore handed Tampa Bay a fifth straight loss.

Gausman allowed five hits and struck out eight. Manny Machado drove in two runs for Baltimore.

Tampa Bay starter Blake Snell allowed three runs and six hits in seven innings. Catcher Wilson Ramos exited the game after getting hit in the helmet by Baltimore shortstop Ruben Tejada’s bat.

Blue Jays 4, Athletics 2

TORONTO — Russell Martin homered as Toronto beat Oakland.

Francisco Liriano and three relievers combined on a two-hitter for the Blue Jays. Liriano allowed two runs and two hits in five innings.

Matt Chapman homered for the third straight game for the A’s.
