The New York Yankees have agreed to a two-year, $24 million deal with second baseman DJ LeMahieu, according to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic. The deal is contingent on LeMahieu passing a physical.
LeMahieu, 30, hit .276 with a career-high 15 home runs, 32 doubles, two triples and 62 RBIs last season with the Colorado Rockies despite missing 34 games. He is a two-time All-Star and three-time National League Gold Glove Award winner.
In 2016, LeMahieu led Major League Baseball in hitting with a .348 average.
