The Philadelphia Phillies placed right-hander David Robertson on the 10-day injured list Monday with a sore pitching elbow, one day after the veteran threw two scoreless innings against the Miami Marlins.

After a rough start where he gave up at least run in each of his first three outings, Robertson was working on a run of four consecutive games without allowing anybody to score. Sunday was not only his longest outing this season, it was the first time he did not give up a hit in an appearance.

Robertson, who signed a two-year, $23 million deal this past offseason, has a 5.40 ERA in seven appearances.

The Phillies filled his roster spot by adding right-hander Drew Anderson to the bullpen. Anderson, 25, has seven games of major league experience, including pitching in five games (one start) with the Phillies last season, going 0-1 with a 4.97 ERA.
