Chicago Bulls center Pau Gasol on Tuesday was selected by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace Jimmy Butler in Sunday’s All-Star Game in Toronto.
Butler suffered a strained left knee in Friday’s game against Denver and will miss about three weeks.
This marks the sixth NBA All-Star Game selection for Gasol, who is averaging 17.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 blocks for the Bulls.
