LeBron James missed the morning shootaround as he continues to recover from strep throat and is questionable for Monday night’s home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The star forward did not play in the Cavs’ 117-99 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night because of the illness.

If James doesn’t play, it would be his fifth game missed this season. The Cavaliers lost all four games without James.

James is averaging 25.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.9 assists in 37.5 minutes per game this season.

Guard Kyle Korver (right knee soreness) is also listed as questionable after falling awkwardly on his right leg against the Bulls. He participated in the morning shootaround and said he expects to play against the Bucks.

The Cavs also announced that free agent point guard Deron Williams will sign with the team on Monday but might not play against the Bucks.

Williams, 32, was waived last week by the Dallas Mavericks. The three-time All-Star will back up Kyrie Irving and provide veteran leadership off the Cavs’ bench.

Williams, who played on Team USA with James and Kevin Love, averaged 13.1 points and 6.9 assists in 40 games for the Mavericks this season.
