Former Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has agreed to a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The deal, which is estimated to be around $154 million, was announced by LeBron’s representative, Klutch Sports Group.
James, 33, leaves the Eastern Conference for the Western Conference, where the Golden State Warriors reside. He is a three-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a 14-time All-Star.
James helped bring the city of Cleveland its first pro title in 52 years in 2016. His Cavaliers became the first team in NBA Finals history to rebound from a 3-1 deficit to win the championship.
