MIAMI — The Miami Heat took advantage of the depleted Sacramento Kings, who were without their top two scorers by game’s end and simply did not have enough down the stretch.

Already down DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings lost Rudy Gay in the second half Thursday night at AmericanAirlines Arena, and the Heat prevailed 116-109.

Chris Bosh led the Heat with 23 points and 11 rebounds while Dwyane Wade was the top scorer with 24 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Rajon Rondo came up a rebound shy of his fifth triple-double in seven nights with the Kings, finishing with one point, nine boards and a season-high 18 assists.

Cavaliers 115, Bucks 100

CLEVELAND — Little-used backup Anderson Varejao provided a big boost off a wounded bench and Cleveland beat Milwaukee at Quicken Loans Arena.

Varejao scored nine points in 11 minutes, LeBron James scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds and passed for six assists while Kevin Love had 22 points and 15 rebounds to end a brief two-game losing streak and keep the Cavaliers unbeaten at home. Matthew Dellavedova set a career high with 13 assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 33 points for the Bucks, who trailed by as many as 21 in the first half.
