The Memphis Grizzlies have waived forward Jarrid Famous and swingman D.J. Kennedy, the team announced Sunday.
Both players were signed as free agents last month prior to the opening of training camp.
The 6-11 Famous, 24, played in Slovakia, the NBA Development League and the Philippines last season. He averaged 13.9 points and 9.8 rebounds for Iowa and Fort Wayne in the D-League.
The 6-6 Kennedy, 22, averaged 6 points and 3.5 rebounds in two games last season for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. He also averaged 15.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 44 D-League games with Erie last season.
