The Buffalo Bills have sold more than 60,000 season tickets for the first time in franchise history.

The Bills announced Monday that 60,102 season tickets have been purchased for the 2015 season.

“Bills Season Ticket Members are the most loyal, faithful and passionate fans in the National Football League,” Bills president and managing partner Russ Brandon said in a statement. “We want to take this opportunity to celebrate this record-setting achievement and honor our Season Ticket Members publicly with the 60K club website and graphic. The organization and all Bills fans are excited for a great 2015 season.”

To mark the milestone, the Bills launched a website — Buffalobills.com/60K — to recognize each account holder.

Rex Ryan has brought excitement to Buffalo after he was hired as head coach in January and the Bills have new owners, Terry and Kim Pegula, who purchased the team in October after Ralph Wilson died.

The season-ticket total is 4,000 more than the previous franchise record set in 1992, when the Bills were in the midst of making four consecutive Super Bowl appearances.
