The Cincinnati Bengals cleared defensive end Margus Hunt to practice on Tuesday after passing a physical.
The 28-year-old Hunt began training camp on the physically unable to perform list after reinjuring his back while lifting weights during the offseason. He missed the first four days of camp.
On Tuesday, Hunt returned to the practice field wearing a helmet but was without shoulder pads.
In two seasons with the Bengals, Hunt has 1.5 sacks. Last year, he totaled one sack and seven tackles in 12 games.
