The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed safety Taylor Mays, the team announced Monday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mays was limited to eight games (one start) last year before going on injured reserve with a season-ending shoulder dislocation on Oct. 20 at the Detroit Lions. He had 12 tackles, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery in 2013.
Mays, a second-round draft pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2010, has 79 tackles, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a blocked punt recovery for a touchdown in 50 NFL games played (10 starts).
The Bengals acquired Mays from the 49ers in 2011.
