Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga passed his preseason physical and was cleared to practice Monday.
Maualuga, 28, had opened training camp on the active/physically unable to perform list. He was dealing with hamstring issues.
Maualuga signed a three-year, $15 million deal in the offseason to remain with the Bengals. He has battled through injuries over the past two years, missing seven games. He had 59 tackles and an interception in 12 games last season.
