Wide receiver A.J. Green expects to end his three-game absence due to a toe injury on Sunday when the Cincinnati Bengals host the Denver Broncos.

Green took part in Wednesday’s walkthrough and said he’s “back to play” for the slumping Bengals (5-6), who have lost all three games in his absence.

The presence of the seven-time Pro Bowl selection would help greatly as Jeff Driskel is expected to make his first career start in place of fellow quarterback Andy Dalton, who was placed on injured reserve with a season-ending thumb injury.

Green said he’s not worried about establishing a chemistry with Driskel, who completed 17 of 29 passes for 155 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Sunday’s 35-20 setback to Cleveland.

“Just put the ball somewhere; I’ll get it,” Green said, via Fletcher Page of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Green suffered the injury in a 37-34 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 28.

The 30-year-old Green has 45 receptions for 687 yards and a team-leading six touchdown catches for the Bengals.

Green has eclipsed 100 yards receiving in a franchise-best 32 games in his career. He has 601 receptions for 8,900 yards and 63 touchdowns in 110 contests since being selected by Cincinnati with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
