The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to terms with free agent safety Earl Thomas on a four-year, $55 million contract and free agent running back Mark Ingram on three-year, $15 million contract.
Thomas, a six-time Pro Bowl selection, was a welcome addition considering the Ravens lost linebackers C.J. Mosley and Za’Darius Smith and longtime star Terrell Suggs on defense. His range and big-play ability should fit in well with what Baltimore does defensively.
Last year, Thomas’ season was cut short prematurely due to a broken left leg. It was the second time in three seasons that Thomas, 30, has hurt the same leg.
Ingram, 29, is a powerful runner who could team with quarterback Lamar Jackson to give the Ravens a potent rushing attack. In eight seasons with the New Orleans Saints, Ingram rushed for 6,007 and 50 touchdowns. He ran for 645 yards and six TDs in 2018.
