Running back Arian Foster, who is trying to catch on with a team after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon last year, will work out for the Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions this week, multiple media outlets reported Sunday.

Foster will work out for the Dolphins on Monday, and he is scheduled to have a tryout with the Lions later in the week.

Foster has rushed for more than 1,200 yards four times in his career. He led the league in rushing during his second season, running for 1,616 yards in 2010 for the Houston Texans. He ran for 1,246 yards in 13 games in 2014, but he played in just four games last season before the Achilles injury.

Foster turns 30 years old next month.

Miami’s depth chart at running back currently includes Jay Ajayi and rookie Kenyan Drake. The Lions’ top two runners at the moment are Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick.
