INDIANAPOLIS — Adam Vinatieri kicked four field goals, including a 51-yarder with 1:38 remaining in overtime to give the Indianapolis Colts a 26-23 victory against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in Lucas Oil Stadium.
Vinatieri also kicked field goals of 52, 23 and 38 yards, helping the Colts (2-3) build a 14-point, fourth-quarter lead. Those kicks capped drives of 41, 72 and 30 yards. The 49ers got 28, 43 and 40-yard field goals from Robbie Gould.
The kick left San Francisco (0-5) as one of three remaining winless teams in the NFL.
Packers 35, Cowboys 31
ARLINGTON, Texas — Aaron Rodgers tossed a 12-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams with 11 seconds remaining to lift the Green Bay over Dallas. Rodgers threw for 221 yards and three scores.
The Packers eliminated Dallas from the playoffs on the same field in January when Rodgers converted a key third-and-20 play in the closing seconds and kicker Mason Crosby nailed a 51-yard field goal as time expired. Green Bay (4-1) returned to do it twice in a year, dropping the Cowboys to 2-3 on the season.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed 25 of 36 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns, and Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 116 yards, but it wasn’t enough in the loss.
Ravens 30, Raiders 17
OAKLAND, Calif. — Joe Flacco passed for 222 yards, Mike Wallace caught three passes for 133 yards, and Baltimore ended a two-game losing streak with a victory over Oakland.
Cornerback Jimmy Smith scored on a 47-yard fumble return in the first quarter for the Ravens (3-2).
The Raiders (2-3) lost their third straight game and played without quarterback Derek Carr, who broke a small bone in his back in the previous game. His backup, EJ Manuel, completed 13 of 26 passes for 159 yards and one touchdown. Michael Crabtree caught six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.
Seahawks 16, Rams 10
LOS ANGELES — Seattle slowed Los Angeles’ league-leading offense.
Seattle (3-2), in winning for the third time in four games, pulled even with the Rams (3-2) in the NFC West. L.A. had five turnovers and was 0-for-4 in the red zone as the Seahawks reeled off 16 unanswered points. Brian Walsh’s 35-yard field goal capped the scoring with a minute left.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was 24 of 37 for 198 yards with a touchdown and an interception while his Rams counterpart Jared Goff completed 22 of 47 passes for 288 yards with two interceptions.
Bengals 20, Bills 16
CINCINNATI — Andy Dalton passed for 328 yards, and A.J. Green had 189 receiving yards and a touchdown, lifting Cincinnati to a victory over Buffalo.
Tyrod Taylor was 22 of 36 for 166 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Buffalo (3-2), which missed a chance to go 4-1 for the first time since 2011.
Cincinnati (2-3) was the first team this season to score more than 17 points against the Bills. The Bengals sacked Taylor six times.
Panthers 27, Lions 24
DETROIT — Cam Newton completed 26 of 33 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns to help Carolina earn a win over Detroit.
Matthew Stafford went 23 of 35 for 229 yards and two touchdowns in defeat for the Lions (3-2), who lost for the second time at home this season.
Stafford was sacked six times by the Carolina defense, and the Lions were stagnant on offense until a fourth-quarter rally that was too little, too late.
Chargers 27, Giants 22
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Philip Rivers threw three touchdown passes, two of which came in the second half and one of which brought his team back from behind, to lead Los Angeles over New York.
The Giants (0-5) jumped out to a 9-0 first-quarter lead, which included their first points scored on offense in the first quarter this season. The Chargers (1-4) got 105 yards from Melvin Gordon on 20 carries.
The Giants lost four receivers to injuries, the most serious of which was to Odell Beckham, Jr., who appeared to get his left ankle twisted underneath him after making a catch late in the fourth quarter. Beckham had to be carted off the field with a broken ankle. Sterling Shepard and Brandon Marshall both sustained ankle injuries in the second quarter, and Dwayne Harris broke his foot in the third quarter.
Jets 17, Browns 14
CLEVELAND — Josh McCown threw two touchdown passes in the second half, and New York beat Cleveland.
Kevin Hogan, who replaced DeShone Kizer at quarterback after halftime, gave the Browns (0-5) their first lead of the season on a 21-yard touchdown pass to rookie David Njoku with 9:23 left in the third quarter. Hogan finished 16 of 19 for 192 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Kizer was 8 of 17 for 87 yards, no touchdowns and an interception.
The Jets (3-2) regained the lead, 10-7, before the quarter ended when they cashed in an interception by cornerback Morris Claiborne, who returned the ball 28 yards to the Browns 13. Two plays later, McCown tossed a 2-yard touchdown pass to Austin Seferian-Jenkins. McCown was 23 of 30 for 194 yards, two touchdowns and one pick.
Dolphins 16, Titans 10
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Jarvis Landry scored the go-ahead touchdown with 10:33 left in the fourth quarter to lead Miami over Tennessee.
Dolphins safety Reshad Jones recovered two fumbles, scored one touchdown and added a sack that nearly went for a safety. The Miami defense had six sacks.
Landry caught his touchdown pass, a 6-yarder, in the end zone on a pass from Jay Cutler as the Dolphins (2-2) won despite a lackluster offensive performance. Cutler finished 12 of 26 for 92 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Matt Cassel was 21 of 32 for 141 yards and a score for the Titans (2-3).
Eagles 34, Cardinals 7
PHILADELPHIA — Carson Wentz threw a career-high four touchdown passes as Philadelphia rolled to its third straight win with a defeat of Arizona.
Wentz was 21 of 30 for 304 yards, four touchdowns and one interception for the Eagles (4-1).
Carson Palmer was 28 of 44 for 291 yards and one touchdown for the Cardinals (2-3). All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had six catches for 51 yards, though some of the yardage came late in the game. Fitzgerald became the third player in NFL history to catch a pass in 200 consecutive games. Jerry Rice (274) and Tony Gonzalez (211) are the others.
Jaguars 30, Steelers 9
PITTSBURGH — Ben Roethlisberger turned in his worst home performance in more than 11 years as Jacksonville intercepted five passes in a win over Pittsburgh.
The Jaguars returned two of Roethlisberger’s interceptions for touchdowns on back-to-back Steelers possessions in the third quarter.
Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles passed for only 95 yards but running back Leonard Fournette finished with 181 yards on 28 carries after breaking free for a 90-yard touchdown run with 1:47 left.
