The Dallas Cowboys have won four straight and their playoff hopes are very much alive.

And with those hopes come reports that Jason Garrett has reached out to Jason Witten to come back and play for the Cowboys during their stretch run to the postseason.

So far, the future Hall of Famer has resisted all overtures, saying he is committed to his broadcast career.

Witten retired during the offseason and can be seen as the color commentator for “Monday Night Football” this year.

In his final season, Witten recorded 63 catches for 560 yards and five scores.

The 11-time Pro Bowler played his entire 15-year career with Dallas. He finished his career second in NFL history in receptions (1,152) and receiving yards (12,448) by a tight end, trailing only Tony Gonzalez in both categories.
