–Since the start of the 2005 season, Seattle has the best home record among NFC teams. The Seahawks play in arguably the NFL’s loudest stadium. “We can talk about communication all we want, right?” right tackle Bryan Bulaga said. “It’s kind of like that old saying, ‘You have a plan until you get punched in the face.’ Well, it’s kind of like that. We can talk about it but once you get into it, you have to adjust to it. I think once we get there and once that place gets rocking, we’ll have to all get on the same page, know the calls and roll.”

–Even without a premier pass rusher, the Packers are tied for the NFL lead with 31 sacks. Fifteen players have at least one-half sack. “Just doing our jobs,” said defensive tackle Kenny Clark, who is tied with outside linebacker Kyler Fackrell with a team-high five sacks. “Coach (coordinator Mike Pettine) has been doing a great job with dialing up blitzes. We’re getting guys off the field on third down. When we get up, and we know it’s pass, and we get a chance to rush the passer, guys are winning their matchups and exploiting the matchups we have. We’re just doing a good job of dialing up some blitzes and tricking some offenses.”

–Undrafted rookie safety Raven Green didn’t play a single snap on defense in the first eight games. Through personnel moves and injuries, Green played 30 snaps in Sunday’s win over Miami. He responded with a sack, a pass defensed and a 26-yard run on a fake punt. “I was a little nervous at first, thinking like, ‘OK, you’re really going to do this,'” Green said of the fake punt. “As we got into the huddle, the guys really came around and were like, ‘We got you, man,’ basically. I went out and made did what I did.”
