–After recording only five sacks in his first two seasons, Kyler Fackrell is tied for fourth among NFL linebackers with eight sacks. He had three in Thursday’s loss at Seattle. Fackrell and Pittsburgh’s T.J. Watt are the only players in the league with two games of three sacks. “It’s just the process of continuing to work,” Fackrell said. “I don’t think that it was necessarily any one thing. I’ve always studied about the same amount of film. There’s no big change I’ve made in any one area I don’t think. I think just playing free a little bit and then just continuing to work.”

–Running back Aaron Jones leads the NFL with 6.36 yards per carry. Among running backs, he ranks second in the league with a 10-yard run rate of 21.4 percent. Despite his success, he hasn’t had more than 15 carries in a game. The Vikings are second with 3.65 yards allowed per carry.

–QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown 19 touchdown passes vs. one interception. The best touchdown-to-interception ratio in NFL history belongs to New England’s Tom Brady, who threw 28 touchdowns vs. two interceptions in 2016.

Rodgers, who grew up in Chico, Calif., is partnering with the North Valley Community Foundation to donate $1 million to help victims of the California wildfires. Plus, Rodgers and State Farm Insurance will donate $1 for every retweet of Rodgers’ Twitter post of his announcement using the hashtag #retweet4good until Sunday. “I do want to take this opportunity to thank the Green Bay Packers organization,” Rodgers said. “They’ve pledged $250,000 alongside my donation. I’m just really humbled and appreciative and thankful to Mark (Murphy, the team president) and the organization that they would come alongside me. I’ve seen many of my teammates have retweeted my initial link, and it means a lot to be able to help those people and just continue to raise awareness that this is a long, drawn-out process. People have been in place for a few weeks now helping out, but it’s going to take months and years to rebuild Paradise and the areas affected.”

–Wide receiver Davante Adams has 953 receiving yards, putting him 47 yards shy of his first 1,000-yard season. “It’s a good milestone to hit. It’s not really anything different; I had 997 (in 2016), so it’s not much of a difference other than just being able to say a ‘1,000-yard receiver.’ I feel like a lot of the respect, or lack thereof, my direction has been because I haven’t had that 1,000-yard season. That should help quiet some of that down.”

–Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said he and his staff on Tuesday watched the Rams’ shootout victory over the Chiefs from Monday night. “I loved it,” he said. “A couple of us pulled the tape up and we obviously watched both offenses. There were some big plays and it sure was a fun game to watch. To watch the game tape Tuesday morning, a lot of good football there offensively.”

BY THE NUMBERS: 0 – Road wins by the Packers, who are 0-5 away from Lambeau Field. San Francisco (0-5) and Cleveland (0-4) are the only other teams that are winless on the road. Since Mike McCarthy became head coach in 2006, Green Bay is one of seven teams with a winning road record.
